These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TalaTask website and services at talatask.com (the "Service") operated by TalaTask ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

The Service

TalaTask provides a platform for tagging recorded sports footage. When you complete tasks through the platform, you agree to:

  • Complete tasks accurately and carefully
  • Follow all training materials and guidelines provided
  • Maintain the confidentiality of any footage or data you access through the platform
  • Not share, copy, or distribute any footage, data, or content from the platform
  • Not use automated tools or scripts to complete tasks

Independent Contractor Status

You use the platform as an independent contractor. You decide when you work, how much you work, and whether to accept any task. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship, partnership, or agency relationship between you and TalaTask. You are responsible for any taxes or reporting obligations that apply to you in your country.

Training and Assessment

Before completing regular tasks, you must complete our training and assessment process. Details are provided inside your account after you apply.

Payment

Payment for completed work is processed according to the rates and schedule shown in your account. We reserve the right to:

  • Adjust payment rates with reasonable notice
  • Withhold payment for work that does not meet quality standards
  • Require corrections before processing payment

Quality Standards

All work must meet our quality standards. We may review your work for accuracy and completeness. Consistent failure to meet quality standards may result in reduced task availability or account suspension.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by TalaTask or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission. All tags and data you create through the platform belong to TalaTask.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Share your account with others or allow others to complete tasks on your behalf
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Any outstanding payments for completed and approved work will still be processed.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TalaTask shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
